Project Manager – Western Kansas Region

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Project Management position to manage and oversee projects and provide the quality of service that is expected from our clients. We are looking for a motivated individual to partner with Field Superintendents and Foreman in managing electrical projects ranging in volume.

•Strong technical background and working knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of electrical construction.
•Solid knowledge of National and Local Electrical Codes.
•Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
•Good written verbal and interpersonal skills.
•Review physical constraints of the site and any special requirements.
•Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
•Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
•Experience in Viewpoint, Procore, Egnyte, Trimble Accubid, are a plus.

Duties and Tasks

•Must be able to conceptually budget, meet deadlines, handle various projects simultaneously and work effectively in a demanding environment, and be willing to go the extra mile on Time Management
•Listening
•Prepare post engineering, layout and cost budgeting for assigned projects.
•Schedule, forecast and monitor all aspect of projects including labor, material and all general expenses.
•Manage all aspects of specific jobs from $100K to $10M.
•Operate, support and foster creative and positive environment of collaboration through the operational structure.
•Coordinate activities, layout, design, and schedules with customers, superintendents, and other operational entities.
•Coordination of all purchasing, planning and scheduling of packages, materials, equipment to be purchased/rented and labor.
•Prepare bid packages and negotiate contracts
•Maintain an excellent working relationship with fellow employees through good communication and cooperation.
•Develop relationships with manufacturers and manufacturers reps and our clients
•Manage all facets of projects to make installations of commercial and industrial jobs assigned
