Field Superintendent – Kansas City Market

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Superintendent position to supervise and oversee projects and crews in our Kansas City Market ranging in scale from $100K to $10M. We are looking for a motivated individual to provide leadership, shared knowledge, and encourage professional growth to our field staff.

Scope of Work

A Superintendent is required to manage and oversee the area’s projects, foreman, and manpower as directed by the General Superintendent.

•Certified Licensed Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of (10) years electrical experience.
•Foreman or Higher with experience running crews of 8+ employees.
•Strong technical background and working knowledge of electrical, telecom, security, fire alarm, and mechanical aspects of electrical construction.
•Solid knowledge of National and Local Electrical Codes.
•Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
•Good written verbal and interpersonal skills.
•Review physical constraints of the site and any special requirements.
•Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
•Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
•Experience in Procore, Egnyte, Trimble are a plus.

Duties and Tasks

•High Level Management of crews and projects
•Good Communication & Documentation skills
•Good Communication with Foreman’s, PM’s and General Contractors
•Material Accountability & Efficiency
•SIP Reviews with Foremen
•Ensuring Daily Site Reports are being completed
•Understanding of Material purchasing /return management
•Computer/ IPad Efficiency
•Review of Material Takeoffs and Purchasing
•Closeout a Project and Troubleshooting
•Ensuring Safety Accountability, PJ, TBT and Shared learnings are being completed
•Manpower recruiting, management, coordination, and planning
•Review of General Contractors schedules, Labor and EQ
•Prefab Shop Communications and planning
•Accurately Manages multiple project requirements
•Organizational Skills
•Working relationship with coworkers (communication and coordination)
•Technical background and working knowledge of electrical & mechanical aspects of electrical construction
•Delegation of assignments to Foreman
•Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics
•Meeting Deadlines
